Fallout: Trials Of The Vault Dweller

“It seems like a radiation storm is on the way, we could take shelter in this cave here! Wait… this isn’t no cave… this is a Vault!”   

FALLOUT: TRIALS OF THE VAULT DWELLER is a tabletop RPG that takes the mechanics of BETRAYAL AT THE HOUSE ON THE HILL and gives  them a FALLOUT flavor! 

(...is that nuka-cola I taste?)

Each player takes the role of a wasteland explorer turned DWELLER after becoming trapped in creepy, run down Vault of unknown origins. 

As you explore the Vault, you discover new rooms. Each time you enter a new room, you might find something . . . or something might find you.

DWELLERS can acquire I.T.E.M.S. and find COMPANIONS that improve their stats, and offer unique advantages to solving the mystery of their new setting. DWELLERS may also be forced to overcome unique EVENTS as they explore.

At some random point during the game, one DWELLER triggers a scenario called a ‘TRIAL’. When the trial is revealed, the DWELLERS become heroes, struggling to survive through one of the many cruel social experiments run by the corporation, VAULT-TEC. It is possible that one of your PARTY of DWELLERS, will reveal their true selves, becoming a TRAITOR, or even a MONSTER. From then on, the game is a fight, perhaps between the traitor and the heroes, perhaps between the heroes and the cruelty of the wasteland, perhaps even between the heroes and the VAULT ITSELF…  always, however, it is a fight to the death.
